A Sideways and Slacking Society

A side ways and slacking society is what shall be the death of me
A child of a broken home for all eternity
have you moved so far away that you have gone and forgotten me
forgotten the last one who still believed, the last one who could still see you as all you really
could be
yeah you are of another breed;you, the down trodden of society
pretenders making up for what they cannot be; swindling those who are out of every thing
the root of all evil, money; tis a greed driven superficially
bare away the pretenses of society; the picture of pristine only a mere fantasy
you cannot tell me you have not seen the wars of land driven by man's greed
in this narrow sighted society you are wrong if you choose to believe differently
I'm telling you a sideways and slacking society shall be the death of me
a child of a broken home now alone for all eternity
you have moved so far away that you have forgotten me
it's alright because no one left believes; no one else cares to look and see
of another breed, the down trodden of society; giving into death so easily that no one will bother to remember you, no one but me
